Brian: “I’ve been told I smiled a lot growing up. I loved sports - following and playing them - especially soccer and basketball and spent a lot of time at church youth activities.

Nine years after losing my mom, some of my most treasured memories are the ones connected to baking. Baking and sharing it with others has become a special way for me to honor her and stay connected to her memory.”

Angela: “I remember being a happy kid. I loved playing with my sisters, being outside a lot, spending time with family at each other’s houses and playing sports (first softball then adding basketball when I was able to throw the ball high enough to hit the rim). I’m so thankful that my parents emphasized time together as a family."
