Mommy and Corinne had fun bringing our sidewalk chalk out today! After donning her favorite sunglasses and hat (and sunscreen, too ), we made our own little “artist walk” in front of our home.

We enjoyed a (belated) anniversary date at the temple followed by a tasty dinner at Olive Garden. Such a wonderful evening!

Our go-to “movie night” (turning it on for a little bit here and there) is the original Mary Poppins. Little Miss loves talking about Bert, Mary Poppins, Jane and Michael. Regular day-to-day moments with our Little Miss. Ranging from Library days, sharing smoothies with Mommy, having fun with her new hat and putting toys on her head. Little Miss and I went to the Lindon Temple open house today (we missed Brian who was working ). It was a beautiful day and a wonderful experience. One of my favorite moments was when we were in line and Corinne looked at the temple with her arms up and out saying, “I want to hold it!” I let her know we would be going inside soon. Angela: Our sweet, independent grocery store helper. I like to take her to the grocery store to teach her all sorts of things, such as: things in our cart don’t belong to us until we buy them at the register… that when it’s busy in the aisles, we take turns… that we are kind to others… and my current favorite: mannequins aren’t real, they don’t move, and we can wave at them and give them high fives. What a FANTASTIC week! We were in Arizona for Brian’s family reunion and had a wonderful time. We saw the Grand Canyon, Sedona and other beautiful vistas throughout. My favorite family picture is of us with scared/surprised faces: On the beginning of a hike, Corinne said, “Scary teddy bear!”… you can see one of those life-sized bear carvings in the corner of the picture. In the mornings, before we start our day, we like to read and play with books… Little Miss was VERY proud of her book stacking skills and wanted to take a picture. I love how she posed by gently holding it.

Our family had dinner at Texas Roadhouse on Saturday to celebrate Brian’s mom’s heavenly birthday that was earlier in the week. She’s known in our house as “Grandma Marie”. It was a very sweet and special time going to one of her favorite restaurants to remember and honor her.

We love our Sunday afternoon walks.

Angela: Happy Heavenly Birthday, Dad (or as you are now known in our home as “Grandpa Larry”). To honor your birthday, Corinne and I went and got frozen yogurt and brought some back for Brian (like we did for you so often all those years ago). We also listened and danced to your favorite Fleetwood Mac songs while making dinner. The first pic is a favorite of mine from my high school graduation and the others are from today. I love and miss you.
