Corinne is such a hoot. She is such a fun little one, and Brian and I laugh with her EVERY day. We take notes in our phone of funny things she does and says. This is the one I wrote last month about a conversation I had with my sister (which included her dog Spencer) that got me laughing reading it again. Also… for fun… I’m including a family picture of us from early July.

There’s a lot of laughter in our home. We love playing together as a family. Being parents is one of our greatest joys, and we feel so grateful for all the laughter, silliness, and love we share together.

Today’s picture is from one of our family walks. Lately, when we can, we’ve been trying to go on a family walk after dinner. It’s become such a simple and wonderful way to spend time together, get outside, and enjoy each other’s company as the day winds down.

Favorite Foods: We love so many different foods that it’s hard to pick just one. We’re definitely a family that enjoys trying different things. Favorite Restaurants: As a family, you’ll likely find us at Chick-fil-A or Texas Roadhouse (that one is typically reserved for special family outings). For date nights, we love sushi, Italian, Thai, and pretty much anything delicious. Favorite Season: Fall. We love the cooler weather and changing leaves. Favorite Activities: Exercisin

This last Friday, Brian and I had a really fun date night. We went to two wedding receptions, and I had an awesome surprise at the first when I ran into multiple friends from church that I haven’t seen since I moved from the Bay to Utah seven years ago! What a treat the entire night was.

What a fun month we’ve been having! We celebrated Brian’s birthday, participated in fun Independence Day activities, he and I ran a 5k, we visited family in my hometown and have had fun making sweet memories in-between. A sweet week together. Brian and I enjoyed a date night attending Utah Symphony’s annual concert at Ashton Gardens in Thanksgiving Point and had the opportunity to see Jenny Oaks Baker perform celebrating the 250th birthday of our nation. Mommy and Corinne had fun bringing our sidewalk chalk out today! After donning her favorite sunglasses and hat (and sunscreen, too ), we made our own little “artist walk” in front of our home.

We enjoyed a (belated) anniversary date at the temple followed by a tasty dinner at Olive Garden. Such a wonderful evening!

Our go-to “movie night” (turning it on for a little bit here and there) is the original Mary Poppins. Little Miss loves talking about Bert, Mary Poppins, Jane and Michael.
