Day 25: What is a Tradition from Childhood That You Still Treasure Today?

Angela: I’m so grateful to have many fond memories as I look back upon my childhood. I decided to write about the first one that popped into my mind. I wonder if this came to me because as I’m writing it is evening-time? When I was a little girl, and if we were outside in the evening with my dad (I remember being out with him and my sisters as he bbq’d), and we would try to spot the moon first, and whoever spotted it first would say, “My Moon!”... and the moon would be theirs for the evening. As the years have gone on, and when I see the moon, in my heart, I often say, “My Moon”, and think of my dad. I look forward to passing this onto Corinne and any other children we’re blessed with. Also, this is a very favorite picture among my sisters and me. We laugh at how clothes, hair, expressions, but most importantly, we love our dad’s smile.
