Day 42: How do you handle stress or hard days?


Angela: There are two go-tos I have when I’m experiencing stressful moments… Walking and breathing. I try to get out on a walk every day. Being outdoors and moving my body helps me come back to a more centered space. Also, pausing and taking a few slow, deep breaths also helps me feel more settled (like a bit of a reboot). It’s really sweet that when Corinne sees or hears me taking deep breaths, without fail, she will imitate.  I hope I can teach her through my words and actions the importance of deep breathing in tough moments. — So, again… I don’t have a picture that goes with this topic, so I’m posting this fun one of Corinne hugging a big brown bear at a candy store last month.
