Day 48: Nicknames

Angela: I have MANY… I’m grateful that I love them all (they are either sweet, endearing or funny). For many, I am “Angela”, but my family and some of my old friends (old by numbers of years we’ve been friends, not their actual age, haha) have mostly called me “Angie” and “Ang”. I’ve been asked if I like one over the other, and the answer is, no. I love them all because I love the people who call me them. One nickname that has stuck in my mind and my heart (that some in my family may remember) is “Angie May”. My first and middle name is “Angela Mary”. My grandmother, Mary Ann, had nicknames for all of her grandchildren, and mine was “Angie May” (she also liked to call me Angela Mary). This is a pic of her, and it is one of my favorites.
